What would I consider a bangin’ meal? We’ll my co-worker has shown me the way! Kampuchea a noodle spot on Rivington St. is closed and Bun & Co. Sandwich Bar & Grill has replaced it.
This is the Stuffed-dog w/ jalapeños, cheddar & sour pickle. I got two to satisfy my hunger. How good was it? Bangin’! I’ll definitely be back to try mac and cheese, spicy chicken wings and shrimp roll.

We made it to the park and Luna was immediately drawn to the squirrels.

We’ve been exploring the Cobble Hill food scene every Thursday this past month since Amanda’s been taking prenatal yoga in that area. We found this Japanese spot, Osaka last week. Amanda ordered the Miso Black Cod, which was garnished with an orchid and served on top of rice noodles.
I ordered the Sashimi Regular, which came on a platter of ice and garnished with this crazy grass/bamboo thing that gave it a beach scene look. In general this place has had the most amazing presentation I’ve seen at a Japanese restaurant. But not to be trumped by the taste, which was also fresh and delicious.

The Bodges (@mikebodge n @missmimichi) came over one weekend so we could do some bonding and our dogs could sniff each others butts. Madison was having fun with Luna’s toys, while she watched helplessly.
Madison really liked chewing on this squeeky foot.
Then we forced the two to do some bonding… they growled at each other.

We took a trip out to Long Beach on Sunday and met up with the Sara, Allison and Jarret. despite the weather predictions of a possible storm we went out there anyway. When we finally got to the beach and settled the sun was promptly swallowed by the clouds. But we did get in a few mins of relaxation before we had to run from the rain.
We ended our time with them at a restuarant/bar with the worse service ever. But we had a good time.
