COOKED: Curry Shrimp with Couscous and Asparagus
On one of my trips to the grocery store for some eggs I found myself passing the spice aisle and spotted some Jamaican curry powder. I’ve never cooked with it but I decided to pick up a jar anyway and experiment. So after our trip to Fairway I got the chance to whip up something with the curry powder. I shelled and deveined some jumbo shrimp tossed it with a teaspoon of curry powder and a 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, threw it into a skillet and panfried it. Voila! I prepared some couscous with broth and parsley and roasted some asparagus to go with the shrimp, needless to say it was really good.

Breakie Stack
I allowed my creative juices flow and created a “breakfast stack” this morning. Taking leftover turkey burgers, toast, fried eggs and parmesan cheese and throwing it together.
I used a circle cutter because I like to waste food… actually we ate most of the scraps afterwards. Just flexing some creative muscles.
It bleed yellow gooey yummers.
